This week’s winner of ’30 Causes’ has been awarded to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. The CCFA was founded over 40 years ago to begin funding for research and insight into Crohn’s, colitis, and related digestive diseases and their causes. To date, the foundation has donated over $150 million towards beneficial research and community support. With over 50k members and chapters in nearly every corner of the country, advocacy for research and understanding of the disease has grown significantly since its inception. Family members of Access employees have been directly affected by digestive diseases and contribute to the local chapter.
