Now two-thirds of the way through ’30 Causes,’ this week’s donation has been awarded to Minutes for Memories! This great cause was founded in 2011 in honor of a young man named Addison Russell who was tragically injured in a tubing accident. The goal of the foundation is to let those facing long-term recovery know that their injury doesn’t define them, by providing a helping hand in almost any capacity. Whether it’s going to a Red Sox game, a play, or the latest movie, MFM strives to help those injured see the brighter side of life. The foundation has local chapters at Boston College, as well as Regis College and serves those between the ages of 5-25.
