This week’s ’30 Causes’ has been awarded to Fenway Health! Founded by Northeastern students in 1971, Fenway Health has been providing the local LGBT community, and anyone else who may need medical assistance, with a safe haven. Services include anything from dental work to a full-scale pharmacy and healthcare navigation assistance. The Fenway Institute branch of the organization funds an interdisciplinary research center for HIV/AIDS and other diseases that affect the community. Fenway Health believes proper healthcare should be a right, not a privilege.
