30 Causes, Week 3: National MS Society

This week’s winner of the $100 donation is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society! This unpredictable disease affects nearly 2.3 million people worldwide and can be difficult to diagnose. While the exact cause of MS remains unknown, scientists agree that a disruption within the flow of information between the central nervous system and the body is what defines the disease. The National MS Society offers a number of ways to get involved throughout the country, including annual walks, golf tournaments, mud runs, and more.
