30 Causes, Week 7: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

The week 7 winner of our 30 Causes campaign is awarded to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Created in 1987 by several individuals who had lost loved ones to suicide, the foundation has grown exponentially since its inception, providing the community with a number of resources; both for those suffering and those grieving. Locally, the foundation hosts their ‘Out of the Darkness’ walks, with one recently held in Dallas and an upcoming one in Boston.
