TransMedics Leadership Forum

TransMedics created a bold presence at ISHLT 2023 with its interactive sphere and its call to revolutionize the process of organ transplants.

The TransMedics team, believing “Every organ wasted is a life not saved,” foresaw a further opportunity to bring together hospital administrators and transplant surgeons to explore TransMedics Organ Care System (OCS®) technology and the company’s resources for saving lives through a better transplant system.

TransMedics was founded to address the growing need for healthier organs for transplantation. The company is focused on transforming the standard of care — increasing organ utilization, improving patient outcomes, and reducing transplant costs.

The goal of the Leadership Forum was to place a singular focus on decision-makers.

This was the first event of its kind, inaugurated by TransMedics’ CEO, who decided that he wanted one-on-one access to early adopters.

The Leadership Forum was a three-day event. Each day focused on a specific organ—heart, lungs, and liver. The format was built around panels of surgeons presenting their stories and experiences, with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field sharing data.

A Strong Brand Identity Leading the Charge

Access transformed the space at the Intercontinental Boston with bold TransMedics branded graphics that displayed relevant transplant data and information about TransMedics’ air transportation fleet. Catering was provided throughout the event, and a black-tie dinner was served the night before the Leadership Forum opened.

The event was so successful that TransMedics is already planning to repeat it in Prague in conjunction with ISHLT 2024.
